Hiking Trails - Ponkapoag Pond, AMC Camp & Blue Hills Reservation

Randolph features some excellent Hiking trails within the Blue Hills Reservation including trails around Ponkapoag Pond. Along these trails are 20 cabins and 2 tent sites that are part of the Appalachian Mountain Club Ponkapoag Camp. The AMC Camp includes 2 of the oldest cabins listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Some lucky residents in North Randolph are able to access the Blue Hills and Ponkapoag Trails directly from their neighborhood! How cool is that?

South Shore Bar Pizza

If you grew up on the South Shore of Massachusetts you are probably familiar with Bar Pizza which is distinctly different from any other Pizza around. “Bar Pizza” are smaller (~10 inch), thin-crust pies with lots of chees (usually cheddar) that goes right to the edge. Randolph is lucky enough to have 2 famous Bar Pizza establishments: The Linwood Cafe and Hoey’s at the Randolph AMVets Post. The Linwood Cafe is one of the best and most famous of the South Shore bar pizza joints - plan on a lengthy wait on weekend nights whether your are eating in or taking the pizza to-go! Hoey’s is not actually a restaurant or a bar but is inside of the American Veteran’s Post in Randolph.

Stetson Hall

Stetson Hall is a 2 1/2 story Greek Revival building circa 1842 at the Southern end of Randolph Center at the Intersection of North Main St, South Main St, North St and Union St. Originally used as an academy and former site of a bank and Randolph Town Hall, it is now . After a 14 year renovation ending in 2009 the Hall reopened and was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The spaces can be rented for events.

Powers Farm

Powers Farm is located in the middle of Randolph off North Main St. Powers Farm is a 22-acre town owned parcel of land for all residents to enjoy. There is areas for picnicking and outdoor activities, walking trails, Norroway Pond that allows kayaking. Activities take place there year round including a seasonal Farmers Market and Harvest Hoopla.

Randolph Intergenerational Community Center (RICC)

The Town of Randolph Community Programs are focused around the Randolph Intergenerational Community Center which opened in 2017. This center offers Inclusive programs for children, teens, adults and seniors. In early March 2020 a “senior’s only” space opened . The Center offers fitness programs and manages the Randolph Community pool and the Zapustas Ice Rink. The Center also manages the public spaces at the Williams Gazebo, Powers Farms and the Community Center building all of which can be rented for private events.
